Hey! I’m Chris

I’m the owner of Long Light Real Estate Media, a one-stop-shop real estate media company serving Portland, Oregon & SW Washington.

I started Long Light for many of the same reasons you probably started your business as a real estate agent. I wanted more control over my time, the opportunity to build something of my own, and a career that would allow me to be more present with my family.

Before making the move into real estate media, I spent the last decade shooting weddings. Over that time, I built my skillset around photography, video, lighting, composition, telling a story through imagery and working with lots of different people.

Real estate media felt like the perfect next chapter. It gave me the opportunity to put those skills to work while creating a business that better fit the life I wanted for myself and my family.

What I didn’t expect was how much I’d enjoy the industry itself. I get to explore some incredible homes around Portland, meet some amazing agents, and offer a service that truly helps a lot of people.

I’m genuinely grateful to be able to make a living doing something I enjoy, while building lasting relationships with the people I get to work with along the way.

I live here in Portland and make lots of music with my band, I love drawing, surfing, volleyball, the nerdiest board games, and hanging with my 3 kids.
